Producer Notes
One of the founders of Brunello, the Conti Costanti estate is still family owned and run and focuses on the traditional Brunello style whilst incorporating some modern wine making techniques. The majority of their vineyards are planted with Sangiovese from which they make their Brunello, Rosso and, in good years, their Riserva. Their wines edge towards the muscular and the Brunello and Riserva benefit from a decent amount of age (10 yers or more) to allow the tannins to soften. The Rosso, like many others, can be approached younger. A consistent producer whose wines will carry a little more depth in the better vintages.
