Quinta do Noval is the official name for the Portuguese estate now owned by the French AXA group. They make a wide range of Ports, most of which carry the name Noval as they will be made using grapes bought from the wider Douro area as well as from the estate itself. Only the Ports that carry the Quinta do Noval name are made exclusively from the estate: Quinta do Noval Vintage Port and Colheita Port which are made from grapes grown on the estate but from several plots; and their prestigious and exclusive single vineyard Port Quinta do Noval Naçional which is produced from ungrafted Portuguese vines situated in one single plot within the larger vineyard. A prestigious, high quality Port house that doesn’t seem to go out of fashion.
