Producer Notes
Ramonet is a well-known and highly regarded Burgundy producer who is best known for their white Burgundy even though they also produce a number of reds. With vineyards in the most prized Grands Crus of the Cote de Beaune including the famous Le Montrachet Ramonet wines tend to fetch hefty prices but the quality is there and the winemaking thoughtful. Like nearly all higher end Burgundy producers the focus is on low yields to increase concentration and complexity as well as ageing all wines, whether white or red, in a percentage of new oak.
