Producer Notes
Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste is a Cabernet heavy claret (75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc) and a typically big Paulliac.
Grand Puy Lacoste has long made good wines that can age well so there is no particular reason to fear buying old. The chateau has however been occasionally incosistent but this inconsistency means that in good vintages it is good value for money.
The second wine of the chateau is called Lacoste Borie and has been produced since the early 1980s.
