Producer Notes
Marqués de Murrieta is the oldest winery in Rioja, Spain and a very well known brand. Located in the Southern tip of Rioja Alta, in the middle of the 300 hectare Ygay Estate, this is the biggest single estate in Rioja and also boasts the beautiful Castillo Ygay. Founded by Luciano Murrieta who brought back innovative techniques from Bordeaux, including some Cabernet Sauvignon which complements the local tempranillos and garnachas. In 1983 the V.
