Producer Notes
Up until 2000 Feytit-Clinet, although not owned by J-P Mouiex, they managed and made the wine from the estate. During this time the wines were good quality, characterful and well balanced.
The Chasseuil family who took control of the Chateau have done well to increase the reputation of the wines but have headed toward a more international, fruit heavy style. The blend is Merlot dominant with a full, creamy texture and a solid tannic structure. It tends to struggle in poor vintages and do well in the good years.
Vintage Notes
2004 was a good vintage in Pomerol
2004 was an above average, good value, and reasonably long-lived vintage in Bordeaux
