Producer Notes
The only thing anyone ever knew about Mommessin was that they owned the famous Clos de Tart Grand Cru in Burgundy. Since they sold this to François Pinault back in 2017 their claim to fame has gone and now most people are left scratching their heads. In answer to this confusion, Mommessin is a négociant based in Beaujolais who make wines from various appellations in Beaujolais, Burgundy and the Rhône. They have a large portfolio from across France making it difficult to pinpoint anything in particular about their wines other than the fact you can find them almost anywhere.
Vintage Notes
2005 was an excellent vintage for red and a good vintage for white wines in Burgundy
