Producer Notes
Dom Perignon was a monk whose name was later trademarked as a Champagne brand that is now used as a prestige cuvee by Moet et Chandon (owned in turn by world’s biggest luxury brand consortium). The blend is usually around 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir (which would have annoyed the monk who didn’t like white grapes in his wine), produces a very smooth Champagne which ages very well.
