Additional Wine Notes
This is a fine example of a relaxed, approachable Barolo with plenty of kick to it. Lots of dark fruit with a touch of sweetness that is brought back by the herbaceaous edge that carries a little mint. Although young for a Barolo this has started to develop well and is fairly open already.
Producer Notes
Francesco Rinaldi is an old established family run winery in Piedmont that has done well to remain quality conscious throughout it’s expansion. The portfolio includes wines from Barbera, Barbaresco, Dolcetto and Barolo as well as Gavi. Their single vineyard Barolos, Cannubi and Brunate, are what they are most famous for and usually offer good value for the region.
