Produced from old vines across several vineyards, the 2014 Nuits-Saint-Georges is elegant, structured and aromatic. It has a good hit of ripe berry fruit, is well-structured and has a lovely herbaceous quality that sets it apart.
Producer Notes
Mischief and Mayhem is an oddly named (something to do with Roald Dahl, we think) micro-negotiant, run by two ex-Berry Bros Brits.
Fortunately their wines are somewhat more traditional than their name and extremely good value at the moment.
