Simple yet endlessly enjoyable. Arguably one of the best cooperative cellars in Italy, Produttori del Barbaresco never falter in their winemaking and the quality, even in their simplest offering is always high. The 2014 vintage has plenty of full, ripe fruit and bright acidity that will last a few years yet.
Producer Notes
We have always been impressed with the level of quality from the Produttori del Barbaresco range, from the basic to the top end the wine-making rarely falters. Some vintages are better than others of course and not all of their wines are a success story but the quality is always noticeable.
Their member growers have some top class vineyards and the wine makers at the helm seem to know their stuff and, as a rule, make wine in a more traditional in style.
