Producer Notes
Domaine des Lambrays is bet known for their Clos des Lambrays. The domaine owns the majority of the Grand Cru vineyard after rescuing it from neglect in 1979. They follow organic and biodynamic wine making practices subsequently encouraging low yields. They have a reputation for powerful but elegant Burgundy with great balance and can usually be relied on to produce some of the top rated wines in good vintages.
Aside from the Close des Lambrays Grand Cru, they also produce Le Loups from the younger vines in the same vineyard. Clos du Cailleret is their white wine made from Chardonnay grapes sourced from growers in Puligny-Montrachet.
