Producer Notes
Elio Grasso’s wines are reasonably good value for money in Piedmont. Much of the good work here is done in the fields and the wines therefore reflect their terroirs well.
Perhaps the best known and best value is the Barolo Ginestra Casa Matè, but all of the single vineyard offerings are reasonably good value, as are the Barberas and Dolcettos. The only major disappointment is usually the blended Barolo.
