Producer Notes
The grapes grown on the Ogier estate were originally all sold to other producers in the Côte Rôtie area, notably Guigal and Chapoutier. Since the 80’s Michel, along with his son Stephane, have been growing and producing their own wines and gaining a decent reputation. The modernisation of the wine making facilities has seen the wines move away from the traditional style but they haven’t lost their elegance.
Their range of wines has grown considerably with Stephane focusing on single vineyard productions as well as venturing outside of Côte Rôtie.
