Producer Notes
Two Hands Wines is a vinegrower and producer based in the Barossa Valley in Australia. Growing predominantly Shiraz, the estate also creates wines from Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Two Hands has a reputation for producing very bold, rich red wines, showcasing the classic jammy fruit qualities and full bodied style that the Shiraz grape variety has to offer. These wines really are very powerful, with plenty of sweet spice flavours coming through from extended new oak ageing and high levels of alcohol from hot vineyard sites, although this is well integrated in most of their collection. These are not wines made to mirror their European counterparts, rather to embrace everything that Southern Australia is capable of, making the very biggest and best wines possible. Needless to say, the ageing potential on these red wines is incredible owing to the huge concentration and depth of ripe fruit flavours.
